‘SWIFT’ JDA takes possession of own land encroached for nearly 3 decades!
Jaipur: In what could be termed as a major action by the JDA in taking back the possession of its encroached properties, on orders of JDC Gaurav Goyal, Chief Controller (Enforcement) Raghuveer Saini and his team sealed a 25-30 year old building built on JDA owned land.
The property, measuring about 650 square yards and located on Plot number 6 of Chandrakala Colony in Durgapura was occupied for a long time and a two-storey illegal factory had been constructed without even leaving any setback.
When JDA learnt about the same, a notice was given on the complaint of business activities to remove encroachment under section 72 of the JDA Act. However, the encroacher took legal route and received a stay order from SDM Sanganer.
But the JDA got the order removed through Court as Additional CJ accepted that ownership of land belong to JDA and encroacher’s suit was dismissed.
