Surpur directs officers to boost return filing and case disposal in dept
Jaipur: Chief Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department, Ravi Kumar Surpur has instructed the officers of the department to exercise sensitivity and promptness in tax collection. Surpur was directing the Deputy Commissioner and other officers of all the divisions of the state during the review meeting on Monday through VC. He said that the outstanding cases of Amnesty Scheme should be resolved expeditiously.
He also instructed to increase survey activities and to take action to identify fake tax payers with caution. The Chief Commissioner stressed on carrying forward the dialogue program to establish harmony between the traders and the department.
Surpur said that due to election activities in the month of November, the work of revenue collection has been affected, the compensation for which should be compensated with additional efforts in the coming month. In the meeting, the Chief Commissioner directed the officers to take steps towards increasing return filing as per the action plan and to dispose of the appeal cases quickly. He directed the officers to execute the action plan as per the allotted targets.
All the Deputy Commissioners and department officers along with Additional Commissioner KK Singh and Utsaha Chaudhary were present in the meeting.
