State Govt committed to promoting organ donation: Min Nagar

Jaipur: Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Heeralal Nagar said that organ donation gives a new life to a person, and the State government is promoting this noble cause. He was addressing the organ donation rally organised by the Rajasthan Red Cross Society at Albert Hall on Friday. He appreciated the initiative of the Red Cross to create public awareness on this issue and emphasised the need to dispel misconceptions in society regarding organ donation. “Red Cross and other charitable organisations can make significant contributions in this direction,” he said.

General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Rajasthan, Jagdish Jindal, Vice-President Jagdish Khatri, Neelam Jain from Jaipur Branch, Additional Director of Medical Education Rashmi Gupta, Director of SMS Hospital’s Rehabilitation Centre Dr Mrinal Joshi, and others welcomed Nagar. The rally started at Sanganeri Gate and ended at Albert Hall.
