Jaipur: The Infection Disease Centre built at a cost of crores of rupees in SMS Hospital will end the VIP culture. This centre will be used for common patients and there will be no VIP culture, SMS Medical College acting Principal Dr. Deepak Maheshwari said.
Dr Maheshwari gave these instructions while taking stock of the arrangements of the hospital. After getting the new responsibility, Dr. Maheshwari reached IDH Wing, Bangar, Medical ICU and many other places for inspection. He inspected the place where plaster fell recently and asked for a report from the in-charge.
He said that the IDH wing, built at a cost of crores of rupees, is not being used properly for which the medicine department will be consulted and according to requirements, IDH wing will be opened for patients.
