Rs 1,000 crore alloted for boosting education in Raj
Jaipur: In the realm of education, Rajasthan’s transformative initiatives aim to uplift and empower its youth. The state has embraced the ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, and Sabka Kalyan’ approach, allocating a substantial provision of Rs. 1,000 Cr for the establishment and upgradation of colleges, schools, hospitals, administrative offices, and other facilities in deprived areas, ensuring a balanced regional development.
Additionally, there is a commitment to providing KG to PG free education for students from low-income families, small/ marginal/bataidar farmers, and farm laborers. This educational support includes building repairs, construction of classrooms, girls’ toilets, and facility upgrades in hostels and residential schools with a budgetary provision of Rs. 250 Cr. Moreover, skill development through ‘Mukhyamantri Paryatan Kaushal Vikas Programme,’ providing training for 20k youths and folk artists over two years.
