Role of CAs crucial in realising PM’s dream of a developed India, says CM
Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma while addressing ‘Vedaa,’ a twoday national conference of Chartered Accountants organised in Jaipur, said that ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) is performing a very important responsibility in running the Chartered Accountancy as per the rules.
“It is a matter of pride that ICAI is the largest professional body of CA in the world with more than 11.50 lakh members and students. About 4 lakh CAs in India and about 30,000 CAs in Rajasthan are engaged in national service. Your role is very important in fulfilling the resolve of the country’s successful PM Modi ji for a developed India,” Sharma said and congratulated all the youth who recently passed the CA exam and especially Madhur Jain from Rajasthan who got the first position in this exam.
Sharma said that the chartered accountants of state have proved their talent across the world. “You have reached this position on the strength of your hard work & education. It is your duty to play your role in nation’s interest. CAs provide important suggestions to improve the economy & financial performance as well as ensure awareness & compliance with tax laws. Apart from business, CAs also establish internal control systems. I am confident that you will continue to use your skills & knowledge to improve society,” the Chief Minister said.
