Report submitted, govt takes action as Dr Bagri suspended

Jaipur: The Rajasthan govt on Wednesday suspended a senior doctor of Sawai Man Singh government hospital Dr. Rajendra Bagri in connection with issuing fake NOC for organ transplant case. Also, notices under 16 CCA have been issued to Dr Rajendra Bagri, Dr Achal Sharma and Dr Rajeev Bagrahatta.

The action came after an inquiry report on the fake NOC case was submitted to the govt. The inquiry committee also found that 269 cases of transplantation were such in which the donor and receiver were not close relatives. Health min GS Khimsar said that Dr Bagdi, was appointed coordinator of state authorization committee in April 2022 and such meeting notices have been found issued under his signatures with no date mentioned.
