Remembering Rajiv Gandhi, Gehlot thrashes BJP’s leadership

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot remembered former PM Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary on Saturday. At a remembrance function at PCC HQ, CM paid tribute & said that 21st century’s digital age to India, or Panchayati Raj powers & many others were given by Rajiv Gandhi.

‘Today era of mobile phone, internet, computer, a complete revolution has happened inside country, it was his gift. The way he made amendments in the constitution and the rights which have been given to local bodies, Panchayati Raj are in front of everyone. Unfortunately, there is a conspiracy going on inside country by present govt to forget PMs of previous govts or whatever their contribution was,” CM said.

On BJP meeting, Gehlot said, ‘ I had told you earlier also that their leaders have been told that if there is any case of Raj, then you attack CM & govt there. Their so called 7-8 CM candidates have been told that their actions would be fully monitored. They are so nervous, that’s why I told you that their prez is coming here.’
