Relief for people as strike of petrol pumps postponed
Jaipur: In a relief for people, the ongoing strike called by the petrol pump dealers in the state got postponed by 10 days on Friday. RPDA President Rajendra Singh Bhati made an announcement regarding this. Petroleum Dealers’ Association representatives held talks with Food Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas after which the decision was taken. Bhati, however, said that if their demands are not met within 10 days, they would be forced to stage their protest again.
Meanwhile, long queues of vehicles were seen at petrol pumps. Eight petrol pumps are run by oil companies in Jaipur. These are Hindustan Petroleum located at Vidyadhar Nagar, Hindustan Petroleum located at Daulatpura Chandwaji Road, Hindustan Petroleum at Jacob Road near Ajmer Pulia, Indian Oil near Mansarovar Tibetan Market, Indian Oil near Central Jail, Sahakar Marg Bais Godown Circle Bharat Petroleum, Jagatpura and Sitapur Bharat Petroleum.
