Rathore reaches Delhi to attend 2008 blast hearing in SC today
New Delhi: Leader of Opposition Rajendra Singh Rathore on Thursday said that the 15th anniversary of Jaipur Serial bomb blast is on May 13 and hearing on an SLP filed by the BJP will be heard in the Supreme Court today (Friday).
On May 3, advocate Maninder Singh, Shiv Mangal, and Hemant Nahta had demanded an early hearing in the court. It will be heard on May 12.
Rathore alongwith his son Parakram Singh reached Delhi on Wednesday to attend the hearing in the SLP of victim Rajeshwari Devi. He held legal discussion with the advocates.
In the bomb blast case, the Raj HC had acquitted the accused, imposing serious objections on the investigation agency and prosecution of the state government.
“The government did not take any action against the erring officials. The government is doing this to harvest votes. BJP will continue to fight for justice to the victim’s family,” said Rathore.
