Randhawa meets protestors, promises probe; PSK defends addl commissioner
Jaipur: On Thursday, Congress state in charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa called the mayor and councillors in the PCC war room regarding the Heritage Municipal Corporation mayor-councillors and the additional commissioner dispute.
He talked to them for about two hours. Earlier, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, MLA Amin Kagzi and Rafiq Khan also kept their point in front of the in-charge regarding the matter.
A delegation of councillors, including Mayor Munesh Gurjar and Deputy Mayor Aslam Farooqui reached the PCC war room around 12 noon. Randhawa heard the entire dispute. Gurjar said that she kept her point before the in-charge, who will decide in the matter. On the statement of Khachariyawas, the Mayor said that she would not like to react in the matter of officers.
Khachariyawas said that there has been talk about solving the problem of Municipal Corporation.
