Rajasthan ranked 3rd among states, Udpr 1st in north zone among cities
Jaipur: Rajasthan stood third in the country in the Performance State Award category in the Smart City project while Udaipur first among the cities. President Droupadi Murmu presented the award to Kailash Chand Meena, Secretary, LSG Department, at the India Smart City Conclave-2023 in Indore. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer Jaipur Smart City Rajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present.
In the India Smart City Award competition, Udaipur Smart City was given the first award in the North Zone category. The Mobile Application Award and the Best Partner Award for Udaipur Smart City was given to L&T. This award was received by Udaipur Smart City CEO Arpana Gupta, Additional CEO Krishna Pal Singh Chauhan, L&T Vice President Sridharan, General Manager Hanmungam. In the state category of the India Smart City Award competition, Madhya Pradesh has secured the first position, Tamil Nadu the second position and Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh jointly secured third position.
