Raj writes new chapter in water management: CM
Jaipur: The Bhajan Lal government in Rajasthan completed its 3 months as the CM was sworn in exactly 3 months ago. During these 3 months, the party’s resolution letter has been made a policy document. On the occasion, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said, “We work on long term plans. For the first time in power generation, MOU worth `2.25 lakh crore have been inked. A new chapter has been written regarding water in the state as MoU has been signed regarding ERCP and Yamuna water. Focus is on shaping and securing the future of the youth. Now no one will be able to play with the future of youth as Anti Gangster Task Force has been formed to prevent crime. Over 10,000 criminals of different categories has been arrested. We have removed requirement of permission to CBI to investigate cases in Rajasthan. Campaign has been started against illegal mining and more than two and a half lakh tonnes of illegal minerals seized. 564 FIRs have been registered, and arrests have also been made. Work has been done on women’s safety and empowerment. MISA prisoners have been given their due honour as government has reinstated Swatantrata Senani Samman Nidhi.”
