Raj tourism grabs spotlight at JATA Expo
Jaipur: Rajasthan tourism is in the spotlight in the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Tourism Expo going on in Osaka, Japan. On the second day of the Expo on Friday, Japan’s Foreign Affairs Minister Takashi visited the Rajasthan Pavilion and praised Rajasthan tourism. He assured that soon a series of programmes will be prepared by Japan regarding cultural exchange in Rajasthan.
In the first two days, there was more curiosity about Rajasthan tourism in Asian countries among the big players associated with the travel industry. During the B2B meetings, Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore, Joint Director Sumita Saroch and Deputy Director Dilip Singh informed the travel industry representatives about the USP of Rajasthan tourism.
Rajasthan Tourism officials held a meeting with JATA Chairman Hiroyuki Takahashi and JTB Corporation Chairman Kuniharu Ebina and others and discussed the product of Rajasthan Tourism and mutual tourism in the future. Earlier, during the presentation held on Thursday, Gayatri Rathore invited the international tourism world to visit Rajasthan.
