Raj mines dept to get national level award

Jaipur: Rajasthan will be honoured with National Mineral Development Award at the national level for its remarkable achievements in the field of minor minerals. ACS Mines Dr Subodh Agrawal said that the 2nd prize will be given to the Mines Department of Rajasthan by the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines in the National Conclave organized at Dr. Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi on July 12. He said that the National Conclave is being organized on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. In 2021-22, a new record of revenue collection of Rs 6395.15 crore has been made. Similarly, revenue of Rs 224.28 crore has been obtained by auctioning 422 minor mineral plots.
