Raj Mandapam to elevate Jaipur’s tourism landscape
Jaipur: Jaipur is poised to emerge as a significant tourism hub with the announcement of the Rajasthan Mandapam, inspired by Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari revealed the initiative during a recent budget announcement, directing the tourism department she oversees to spearhead the planning and execution of the project.
Tourism Department Additional Director Rakesh Sharma noted that officials have pinpointed a 35-hectare site in Jaisinghpura Khor for the development, in collaboration with the Jaipur Development Authority.
