Raj govt’s new guidelines for suspension & reinstatement

Jaipur: The Gehlot government has issued detailed guidelines regarding the suspension and reinstatement of public servants according to the nature of the crime and different situations.

Under these guidelines issued by the Department of Personnel, if the police or the concerned investigating agency does not present the challan in the court for two years in the criminal case related to any public servant, then the case can be placed before the committee for reinstatement.

The committee will look into the facts, nature of allegations, and seriousness aspects of each case.
Considering their merits, the committee will recommend reinstating the personnel.

Instructions have been given to immediately suspend the concerned public servant if caught red-handed while taking bribes and kept in custody for 48 hours.

In such cases, if the prosecution is sanctioned and the challan is presented in the court, the cases will be placed before the review committee for reinstatement from suspension.

A broad line of action has been laid down for suspension, reinstatement or other actions in different situations.
