POW to offer tours of Ayodhya, other pilgrimages

Jaipur: The royal train Palace on Wheels (PoW) will soon run on the religious circuit during the off-season. The permission has been taken from the Railway Board for the same. After the regular session ends in April, the Palace on Wheels will conduct small religious packages of three nights and four days.

The luxury train will run on the proposed route from New Delhi to Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Mathura, Vrindavan and back to New Delhi. The new tariff for this will be released soon.

The passengers will not be served meat and liquor in the train during the religious tour. The passengers will reach religious cities by royal train and then will be taken to religious sites by luxury buses.

Passengers will get to enjoy devotional music and traditional ‘Satvik’ dishes will be served on the royal train.
