Police bust fake call centre in Chitrakoot area, arrest 32
Jaipur: The Jaipur Police Commissionerate on Thursday busted an illegal call centre in Chitrakoot area and arrested 32 suspects for allegedly duping people sitting in foreign countries.
SHO of Chitrakoot Police Station Gunjan Soni informed that the illegal call centre was being run in Ram Janki Tower on Chitrakoot Marg.
“The call centre was raided on Wednesday afternoon and 32 people, including both girls and boys, were arrested. Deepak Shah, who ran the call centre and Aman, who managed the call centre have also been arrested and are being interrogated. The call centre owner, Dilip Tanwar, is on a run,” said SHO Gunjan Soni.
“The building owner, Suraj Yadav, was also aware of the illegal call centre. The accused have duped crores of rupees from people sitting in foreign countries, particularly from America. The matter is being investigated,” police added.
