PM Modi, Shah and Doval to attend DGP Conference in Jaipur from January 5-7

Jaipur: Rajasthan is set to host the prestigious 58th DGP-IG conference to be held in Jaipur from January 5 to 7 at RIC. This annual event, a key event, will witness the presence of PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

CM BL Sharma on Friday took a review meeting at the CMO to review the preparations.

The Chief Minister said that for the successful organization of the conference, the officials of Municipal Corporation and JDA should ensure that the cleanliness system of the city is excellent. He directed the senior officials of the state to establish coordination between the departments. ADG of Police, Sanjay Agarwal said that 10 committees have been formed regarding security during the event.

The conference, will host DGPs from all states, police officers from Union Territories, and officers from central security agencies.

Discussions will span diverse topics, including cybercrime, data governance, counter-terrorism challenges, left-wing extremism, narcotics smuggling trends, & prison reforms. PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Jaipur on January 6. He will spend the night at Raj Bhavan, marking a tradition he has followed for the past 7 years.
