Plant will meet domestic & int’l demand: CM Sharma

Jaipur: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma stated on Thursday that the Wipro Hydraulic Plant, opening in Jaipur, is the first of its kind in North India and will boost employment while contributing to the state’s economic progress. He highlighted the immense industrial potential in Rajasthan and govt’s commitment to promoting industrial development. Sharma invited investors to ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Investment Summit, scheduled from Dec 9-11 in Jaipur. Sharma noted that hydraulic cylinders are widely used in construction, earthmoving, utilities, agriculture, forestry, and mining. The plant is expected to meet the increasing domestic and international demand.

Sharma emphasized that the State Govt is working to make Rajasthan a preferred destination for investors through innovations and new policies. He mentioned that govt is making significant decisions this year to ensure adequate water and electricity availability in State. CM expressed gratitude to Azim Premji for inaugurating Wipro Hydraulic Plant here. Premji stated Rajasthan was most suitable location for hydraulic plant in North India.
