PHED MIN SPEAKS ON CORRUPTION

Jaipur: PHED Minister Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary’s pain was reflected in the Assembly on Friday. The minister said about the corruption prevailing in his own department that till now I have suspended more than 40 employees and if strictness is shown at lower level, not even a single officer will be left such is the level of corruption here.

Referring to corruption in JJM, he said, “A scheme was made without water, no one knows where the water will come from, state govt could spend only 20% of money given by the central govt under the mission.” He was responding on Friday after a 2-day discussion on drinking water. The Minister also said that about 25,000 recruitments will be done in the department.
