Party is united, will oust Cong from State: Poonia

Jaipur: BJP State president Satish Poonia has denied factionalism in the party and said that Rajasthan BJP is completely united and its first objective is to oust the Congress from power. While taking a dig at the Congress, he said that who is running the government in the Congress is not known. Poonia said that the BJP is fully prepared for the elections. “Who is running the party, the resignation of the MLAs is the hallmark of discipline. The miscreants from other states have made Rajasthan a refuge, but the state home minister is not aware of what kind of crimes are taking place and what are the security measures,” he said. In Rajasthan, factionalism is going on between the leaders of Congress and BJP. This factionalism in Congress has reached Delhi. At the same time, factionalism is visible within the BJP.

“We are all bound by the decision of the Parliamentary Party. Although there is talk of factionalism in BJP, but it is only gossip. The character of BJP is strong. All the people of the party are working under one umbrella and are bound by parliamentary decorum,” he said. Poonia denied the third power in the state saying that the politics of Rajasthan is bipolar and there is no space for a third political party here. He highlighted the schemes of the Modi government and hoped for their positive impact on polls in Rajasthan.
