Our family is united, we are winning all three seats: CM Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot appeared confident of the party’s victory on 3 Rajya Sabha seats as he waved sign of victory at the Jaipur airport and also appeared smiling after landing here from Udaipur in Thursday. Gehlot said the Congress will win three seats and they are expecting such results that the BJP in future doesn’t try to indulge in horse trading. A total of 149 people including MLAs reached Jaipur in a chartered plane after 7 days of fencing at Udaipur.

“Our family is united and we are going to win all 3 seats,” he asserted.

Replying to a question that BJP legislators are alleging that the Congress is making compromises to keep its flock together, Gehlot said, “They are so intimidated that they went to the EC and the ED. What is the logic of going to the ED?”

He said that election is on Thursday and they are going to High Court and Supreme Court.

He said that BJP had started the tradition of badabandi during the time of former CM Late Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. “But now we will try that such a situation does not happen in the future,” he said.

MLAs Girraj Malinga and Wajib Ali said that the government is working on all the complaints they had about their displeasure. At the same time, Minister Subhash Garg claimed that BJP MLAs will also do cross voting. “We will get more than 126 votes,” Garg said.
