NTCA’s two day meet to begin from tomorrow

Jaipur: The National Tiger Conservation Authority’s two-day conference will begin on December 19. The summit has a ninepoint agenda, which includes cheetah recovery in Gandhi Sagar. Along with this, crucial Rajasthan-related issues, such as authorisation for tiger relocation, will be discussed.

According to the agenda, discussions will take place about the operation of fourth phase of National Repository of camera trap photos of tigers, distance sampling implementation, and the presentation of the tiger conservation strategy. MStripes implementation and submission, monitoring of authorised NBWL plans surrounding tiger reserves, review of WII research programs and projects being executed by other agencies, state of eco-sensitive zones around tiger reserves, and tiger death rates will be discussed. The Field Director of other Tiger Reserve will also attend.
