Now, Dr Kirodi receives death warnings

Jaipur: With horrific murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur still fresh in the memories of the Rajasthanis, yet another shocking development has occurred in the matter wherein now BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP, Dr Kirodi Lal Meena has received a threatening letter in Delhi. In this, he has been threatened that the writer of the letter - who identified himself as Qadir Ali Rajasthani - will make him face consequences like Kanhaiyalal. The writer wrote, “Kirodi, now it is your number.”

After this incident, Dr Meena has written a letter to the Union MoS for Home Nityanand Rai, as well as to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, demanding action. Along with this, a complaint has also been given to the Police Commissioner of Delhi. A cutting of a news published from Udaipur has been inserted in the letter stating that Rajya Sabha MP Dr Kirodi Lal Meena went to the house of the deceased Kanhaiya Lal and consoled his family and while announcing his one month’s basic salary to the family, he called the failure of the government and the police. The letter mentions this news as a cutting, under which the writer has written, “I have written this letter only after reading it. The world will read something else in the future.” Now, Kirodi Lal has demanded to take action after getting the threatening letter investigated. He wrote, “I request you to get this threatening letter investigated and take necessary action.”
