NO SHORTAGE OF ELECTRICITY FOR INDUSTRIES: CM
Jaipur: On the problem of shortage of electricity raised by some entrepreneurs in the meeting, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the state government has signed a historic MoU for power supply in its 6-month tenure. “Also, the state govt is continuously promoting the Solar Energy and Kusum Yojana. After the implementation of these schemes, the problem of power supply in industries will be solved. The previous govt incurred losses of thousands of crores in the power sector. That govt purchased electricity in August-September, as a result of which we have to repay the loan in the scorching heat of MayJune. The recent decisions taken by the state govt will solve the problem of power for industries in future,” CM said and also appealed to industrialists to use solar energy as much as possible in industries.
Every unit of industry should become a leader
Addressing the industrialists, the CM said that you have vast experience in this field. “Along with giving suggestions about any one industry, industrialists should also give suggestions to improve industrial development in the state so that Rajasthan can become progressive, developed and industrially prosperous. The state govt will make every effort to make every unit of industry established in the state a leader. The state govt will protect the interests of industrialists and businessmen through its policies, programs and schemes,” he said.
Will maintain constant dialogue with entrepreneurs
The Chief Minister said that suggestions received from various trade and industrial organizations are beneficial and efforts will be made to include appropriate suggestions in the revised budget after testing them. He said that the state govt will maintain constant dialogue with entrepreneurs in future also to speed up industrial development.
Dy CM & Finance Min Diya Kumari said that govt and industrialists will work together for industrial development of state and the state will be made an industry hub.
Industry Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that our goal is to provide ease of doing business. Also, the cost of industries should be reduced so that maximum employment can be created. MoS for Industry, KK Vishnoi said that the state will be made industrially prosperous by taking advantage of the experiences and suggestions of entrepreneurs.
