Mins cite various reasons for suicides
Jaipur: Cabinet ministers have raised concerns on the increasing suicide cases in coaching institutes in Kota. Pratap S Khachariyawas said that coaching institutes are only engaged in collecting money. He also took a dig at the coaching instuitutes in the state and said “The coaching operators of Rajasthan are very wealthy but they cannot harass the children on the basis of money. He also termed coaching centers as ‘mafia’.
PHED Min Mahesh Joshi said, “The pressure of studies is there. Apart from this, several students have the burden of their parents having borrowed money for their studies. So, if they fail, what will happen to their parents.”
Govind Ram Meghwal, MLA from Khajuwala said “Watching mobile day and night is increasing depression among the youth. Earlier man used to sit in the middle of the family, used to talk, but nowadays children are getting depressed.”
