Minister Dilawar’s son elected treasurer of Baran District Cricket Association
Jaipur: After the dissolution of the executive of former Chief Minister’s son Vaibhav Gehlot, now sons of BJP leaders are entering politics through cricket. After Rajendra Rathore’s son Parakram Singh and Gajendra Singh’s son Dhananjay Singh, now the name of Education Minister Madan Dilawar’s son Pawan Dilawar has also been included. Pawan Dilawar, on Friday, became the unopposed treasurer of Baran District Cricket Association.
Dilawar said that working for the welfare of cricket and taking it forward is his first priority. “Baran has no cricket ground and making one here will be my priority,” he said. On the question of contesting the elections of RCA, Dilawar said that he would rethink the suggestions of his friends and colleagues regarding this.
At present, Parakram Singh, son of former leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore, is holding the post of President of Churu District Cricket Association in RCA.
