Min Rawat forms committee to conduct survey
Jaipur: After the news of encroachments in the flow area of Ramgarh Dam, the Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat formed a committee for survey. The District Collector has also been asked to form a joint investigation committee. The committee will survey Ramgarh for seven days and prepare a factual report.
The department formed a four-member committee under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Engineer Ajay Tyagi. Rawat said that if the report regarding encroachment is found to be correct then immediate action will be taken. Additional Secretary and Chief Engineer, Water Resources, Amarjeet Singh Meharda said that a committee has been constituted under Tyagi, which includes Superintending Engineer Suresh Kathaniya, Executive Engineer Neeraj Chaudhary and Anil Thalor. The committee will investigate whether the NOCs have been issued against rules.
