Meeting to address RUHS hosp’s issues in staffing

Jaipur: After the displeasure of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, brainstorming has started on the expansion of medical services of RUHS hospital but still looking at the existing problems, the path of solution seems difficult.

Many posts are lying vacant in RUHS with world class infrastructure and the doctors of SMS hospital also do not want to shift there.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma had inspected Rajasthan University of Health Sciences on Saturday and directed the officials to improve medical facilities in RUHS, appoint doctors and make proper arrangements for stay of relatives of the patients.

On the instructions of the CM, ACS Shubhra Singh held a meeting of top officials and doctors of the Medical Education Department, RUHS and SMS Hospital on Monday and gave instructions. In this meeting, many aspects including recruitment of vacant posts were discussed. Apart from this, there was also a discussion on sending SMS doctors to RUHS. However, effort has been going on for the last several years but it is believed that SMS doctors are not interested in going to RUHS.
