Markets will be open 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh
Jaipur: Markets will remain lit up all night in all 16 municipal corporations and industrial areas of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain. Markets, restaurants, malls, hotels, business centers and offices related to information technology will remain open 24 hours. However, pubs, bars, clubs, liquor shops will close at the scheduled time.
Madhya Pradesh will become the seventh state in the country where markets will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Before this, malls, restaurants, IT sector, main markets, business centers were kept open 24 hours in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Telangana. This is the state where there is a large influx of tourists or these states are developing as IT or business hubs.
Rajasthan is the major tourist attracting state of the country, but at the same time some areas of the state are making their mark across the country as business hubs and education hubs. But despite this, the concept of night bazaar in the state is buried in files for a long time. Experts believe that along with Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Mount Abu are the biggest tourist destinations, where there is a dire need to promote night life in view of the movement of tourists in large numbers. The corporate sector is also growing rapidly in Jaipur, for which it is also necessary to open malls, restaurants, business centers at night.
