Jaipur: On the auspicious occasion of Parshuram Jayanti, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla participated at an event in Jaipur’s Mahavir School on Friday. Addressing the gathering, Om Birla said that Lord Parshuram was an expert in weapons and scriptures and there is a need to understand from his biography when to use weapons and when to use scriptures. “Youth will try to end dowry system, will control the food at weddings, will keep only 15 items to eat, will keep an eye on child marriage and will cooperate with the administration to end it. Emphasis was laid on not having banquets, ending evil practices,” he said.
