Laxity of Mines officials causing revenue losses to Mines dept

Jaipur: The indifference of additional directors in the mines department is causing revenue loss to the dept. A total of 471 appeals are pending in various cases and is a major reason for loss. The pending appeals are 228 with Jodhpur ADM, 120 in Udaipur, 108 in Jaipur, 15 in Kota.

There are 12 revision appeals pending in Udaipur, three in Jodhpur and two in Jaipur. Eleven appeals of RCC/ERCC are pending in Jodhpur and two in Udaipur. Nine applications pending for LOI approval in Udaipur, two each in Jaipur and Jodhpur.
