JMCH launches dry & wet waste management drive in Jaipur
Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Heritage, has launched an initiative to ensure that every household has two dustbins for separating wet and dry waste. Under the direction of Commissioner Arun Kumar Hasija, the corporation’s IEC activity team is conducting a door-to-door campaign in collaboration with local representatives and senior citizens.
They are educating residents, particularly women and children, about the importance of using separate bins for waste collection.
The campaign aims to promote proper waste segregation and encourages residents to dispose waste directly into collection vehicles. Awareness efforts have been focused in wards 16, 35, 91, and 96 to enhance community participation.
