JDAs’ special drive to remove roadside encroachment starts
Jaipur: Nearly 150 encroachments on a 3 km stretch on road from Gopalpura turn to Triveni chauraha were removed by the enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority. JDA Commissioner Manju Rajpal informed that as per the instructions given by the UDH Minister in a meeting on July 9, the enforcement wing started the process of removing illegal encroachments in order to smoothen the traffic movement on the road.
Encroachments like platforms, stairs, ramps, boundary walls, stalls, hoardings, sign boards etc. in front of shops and houses were removed under the drive carried out in direction of chief controller- enforcement Mahendra Kumar Sharma. Policemen were deployed in the area in order to smooth execution of the anti-encroachment operation.
