JDA’s Enforcement Squad frees own land worth Rs 10 crore!

Jaipur: Taking major action on Saturday, JDA’s Enforcement Squad got the JDA owned plot, of Rs 10 crore market value, free from encroachment. This major action was taken under JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain’s directions. The Squad took action in plot number 7 in Chandrakala Colony at Durgapura were a 4-storey building was built illegally having left no setback, after occupying the said plot.

On this 333 square yard plot, a hostel was being operated on first & second floors and the hall on 3rd floor, in the back portion, have been sealed. In the action taken under the leadership of Chief Controller Enforcement, Raghuveer Saini, entrance & stairs were sealed by brick wall & locking doors. Notably, the affected party had appealed to JDA Tribunal. After the appeal was rejected, JDA undertook the action. Earlier on March 16 this year, Enforcement Squad had sealed the building’s front part. A family is currently living in the back side and JDA will take action in a day or two to clear this part too.

After this, JDA will start the process of auction of the plot & expects around Rs10 crore from the auction.
Enforcement Squad also freed half a bigha of land in downstream area of Nevata dam from encroachment.
