Jaipur: Delivery agent forcibly enters room, harasses 2 girls

Jaipur: A Zomato delivery agent has harassed and threatened two girls in Sanganer area of Jaipur. 

The victim, who lives in a society flat in Sanganer police station area, told the police that she was from Ahmedabad and was living in Jaipur. She works in a private firm in Sanganer area itself, and shares the room with her room mate. 

Often both go to work during the day and return in the evening. The victim told the police that about ten days back, it was a holiday, she had ordered pizza from Zomato. The name of the young man who came to deliver the pizza was Abid. He delivered the pizza and normal conversation ensued. He had guessed that there were no men living in the room. About ten days after that, he came again in noon to their place. At that time the room mate was taking a bath and the girl was in the kitchen.

He rang the doorbell and as soon as the gate was opened he came inside and locked the room, and tried to abuse them.

On screaming, the room mate also came from the bathroom and both together tried to alert other people living in the building. During this, Abid ran away from there and left after threatening both of them. Both the girls got scared and immediately informed the police with the help of the people living in the adjoining room. Police has registered the case and started investigation. The victim told the police that she had heard about Jaipur, the pink city being safe for women... but now the city is intimidating.
