Jaipur advocate sets himself ablaze, dies

Jaipur: An advocate allegedly committed suicide by pouring petrol on himself in the Kardhani area on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Devendra Sharma (45), who was also the National President of Bhagwa Raksha Dal. “A around 5 pm on Sunday, Sharma reached Benar Puliya at Jaipur-Delhi Highway, about 500 meters away from his house. He got down from his car and poured petrol on himself. By the time passersby stopped and tried to rescue him, he was burnt alive,” police said. The police is investigating the case from every angle.
