Jain community exemplary in social welfare efforts, says CM
Jaipur: While addressing the ‘Samuhik Kshamapan Parv Samaroh’ organised by Rajasthan Jain Sabha at Mahavir Public School in Jaipur, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma invited the Jain saints to the CMR in October.
Hailing the Jain community, the CM said, “Our cultural heritage and philosophical insights are gifts from our sages and saints. It is essential to instil their teachings in the minds of the younger generation. True success in life can only be attained by following the path illuminated by these revered figures,” he stated.
The CM said that Jain community in Raj is actively engaged in social welfare initiatives. “In education, healthcare, & supporting the underprivileged, the Jain community has consistently taken a leadership role, operating hospitals and schools throughout Rajasthan.” Many Jain Shravaks, Shravikaas, and dignitaries received blessings from Muni Maharaj Shashank Sagar, Pawan Sagar, Samatva Sagar, and other saints during the programme.
