Investment boosted in Petroleum Sector with Rs 10,245 cr in State
Jaipur: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Mines Department, Veenu Gupta, on Wednesday reviewed the work of Petroleum department and informed that out of the proposals of Rs. 22,838 crores investment in petroleum sector, new investment of Rs. 10,245 crores have been made.
“Cairn Vedanta has proposed to invest Rs. 20,000 crores. Similarly, Rs. 663 crores by Oil India and Rs. 1050 crore by ONGC in the petroleum sector will be invested as part of the Invest Rajasthan summit. Likewise, Focus Energy have proposed to invest Rs. 1125 crores. Rapid implementation of investment proposals in the state is going on by all the four investor companies while Rs. 10,245 crores have already been invested in Rajasthan,” said ACS Veenu Gupta.
