In a first, Jaipur to get a Tiger Safari soon!

Jaipur: The state government will give yet another gift to tourism sector of the Pink City. Jaipur will be the first city in the country where after Leopard, Lion, Elephant Safari, now Tiger Safari will also be seen by tourists. Now Tourists visiting Jaipur won’t need to go to Ranthambore and Sariska to see tigers as a Tiger Safari will start in Japiur wherein, touists will travel by vehicles on the 8 km long trek.

For this, they will have to pay up to Rs 250 per person. After approval from the Central Zoo Authority for a long time, the project that was stuck due to lack of funds, will be started soon.

Shikhar Aggarwal, Principal Secretary, Forest said that this Safari, to be built in 30 square hectares of land, will be ready at the cost of Rs 4.5 crore. It will consist of a loop line in the sahpe of numbber 8, a grand gate, a watch tower. Ten shelters will also be built for tigers.
