Jaipur: BJP’s strategists, Home Minister Amit Shah and National President JP Nadda, during their visit to Jaipur, advised the big leaders of Rajasthan that whatever the party leadership decides, everyone will have to act unitedly on it. “There is no leader or worker bigger than the party. Everyone should now have only one goal, to form the government in Rajasthan by making BJP victorious in the upcoming assembly elections,” they stressed and again made it clear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Lotus flower will be the face of the party in the elections.
Shah and Nadda, who visited Jaipur less than 24 hours ago, first discussed the BJP’s strategy for victory in the Rajasthan assembly elections in the core committee at a hotel in the city. Later, they also had one to one talks with senior leaders. Among these, their longest discussion was with former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Separate talks were also held with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, BJP State President CP Joshi and Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia.
Both the senior central leaders discussed with the state leaders the roadmap till the elections after the Parivartan Yatra. They also shared the strategy to deal with any kind of dissatisfaction after ticket distribution.
The duo also took the report of survey conducted at state level by the party for candidate selection. Notably, Shah & Nadda had reached Jaipur on Wednesday evening and returned on Thursday.
Notably, GS Shekhawat met Amit Shah and JP Nadda on Thursday & held discussions. Shekhawat told media about the assembly polls, “This is already decided, everyone will work together. Everyone will fight the elections collectively.” Regarding the list of candidates, Shekhawat said, “Centre will decide when the list will come. All circumstances and situations were discussed. Equations & current situation & future poll strategy were discussed.” Shah & Nadda didn’t meet RSS officials. Although BL Santosh had reportedly discussed communication in Sangh. Interestingly, Nadda-Shah took a special meeting for more than half an hour with CP Joshi & there was a delay in departure of Shah-Nadda. Meanwhile, State Prez CP Joshi said after meeting, “Party’s upcoming programmes were discussed. Whether the MP formula is applicable in Raj or not, Central Election Committee has to decide on it. No senior leader is being ignored. Everyone is moving forward together.”
