Houses to be provided to 32 nomadic communities by Oct 2: Min Dilawar
Jaipur: In a press conference held on Wednesday, Minister Madan Dilawar announced that housing will be provided to 32 nomadic, semi-nomadic, and denotified communities. He stated that all beneficiaries will receive land allotments by Oct 2.
Minister Dilawar emphasized that these communities have been overlooked since India’s independence and noted, “These are the people who fought against the Mughals and the British, yet they have not received housing until now.” He assured that children from these families will be connected to education and that families will benefit from government schemes.
During the press conference, Dilawar highlighted the issue of caste certificates, stating that many nomadic and seminomadic families do not possess them because they frequently move from one place to another. He announced that these families will now be issued caste certificates to help them gain proper recognition.
