Haryana Lokayukta Justice Haripal Verma lauds Raj Lokayukta’s functioning

Jaipur: Haryana Lokayukta Justice Haripal Verma during his visit to Rajasthan Lokayukta on Thursday inquired about the functioning of the secretariat and the Rajasthan Lokayukta Act. In a special conversation with First India News, Justice Verma said that the Lokayukta Act of Haryana and Rajasthan are almost similar.

“However, in Haryana, the Lokayukta has the right to hear cases against the Chief Minsiter as well. The Lokayukta Acts of Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka are even stronger. Here, the anti-corruption bureaus are under the Lokayukta,” he said.

Lokayukta Verma praised the functioning of the Rajasthan Lokayukta Secretariat as the disposal policy was good.
