Group from Punjab is trying to develop wine culture in Jpr

Jaipur: A liquor group from Punjab has tried to disturb the culture of capital, a tradition that is contrary to religious & social values, as well as venomous for younger generation. Liquor is being sold openly by this group here after 8:00 pm, due to which liquor culture is growing rapidly in capital.

In sting operation conducted on May 23 and 27, First India News had exposed the dark truth of liquor traders flouting rules, but department was seen avoiding action against guilty licensees and excise inspectors. Now once again our team conducted third sting operation on June 9 and 10, which also exposes a similar site.

A total of 404 shops are approved by Excise Department in Jaipur. Country and English liquor and beer are sold under composite arrangement at these liquor shops. According to rules of Excise Department, liquor shops can be opened only from 10 am to 8 pm. Question arises whether the liquor merchants are following excise rules and regulations and whether department is ensuring its compliance? The revelations were shocking!
