Greater & Heritage’s Commissioners inspect pre-monsoon preparedness
Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage has announced plans to install water harvesting systems at key filling points across the city. This initiative aims to recharge groundwater through rainwater accumulation. JMC Heritage Commissioner Abhishek Surana personally inspected sites prone to water accumulation during heavy rains in Civil Lines, Adarsh Nagar zones including Statue Circle, Transport Road, and Jai Singh Highway.
Surana also reviewed the drain cleaning operations in the Civil Lines Zone, urging officials to expedite the process.
Meanwhile, Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater’s Commissioner Rukmani Riar visited Murlipura and Vidyadhar Nagar zones of JMCG, overseeing disaster management preparations and confirming the functionality of the helpline numbers.
She instructed engineers to secure drains lacking ferro covers to mitigate flood risks ahead of the monsoon.
