Govts of last 70 yrs made mistakes in development of India: GS Shekhawat

Jodhpur: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra S Shekhawat said that the govts that came in the last seventy years have made mistakes somewhere in making India as per the dream of those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence.

“But ever since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the country has started developing and continuous progress is being made. The whole world has started accepting this,” Shekhawat said. He was addressing a program under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra organized at Pratapnagar in Jodhpur on Saturday. He said that in the last seventy years, things could not be done as they should have been. “The pace of development of the country was very slow under the previous governments, but ever since Narendra Modi became PM, he resolved that his schemes would bring change in the lives of the villages and the poor,” he said.
