Govt on alert mode to provide relief to public from intense heatwave: CM Sharma
Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday said that entire state has come under red alert category of heat wave and the state government is making every possible effort to provide relief to the people from the heat.
He said that the entire country, especially Rajasthan, is currently struggling with the scorching heat. Sharma reached Central Park in Jaipur on Sunday morning for a morning walk and interacted with the people.
“Round the clock monitoring is being done to ensure availability of electricity and water. People should not face any kind of problem, hence the leaves of officers and personnel of Electricity, PHED and Medical Department have been cancelled, “ he said while interacting with morning walkers in the park. CM said state govt has made strong arrangements for prevention and treatment of seasonal diseases and heat waves in the entire state. Besides, arrangements for medicine and water have also been made for livestock and cows.
