Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Thursday that State government is working dedicatedly for the development of the entire state including Jaipur. “Rajasthan has emerged as a model state in all sectors including education, health, roads, electricity, water and the development works of Rajasthan are being discussed across the country. A vision document is being prepared under Mission-2030 to include Rajasthan among the leading states of the country for which suggestions have been taken from over 2 crore people so far,” Gehlot said.
Gehlot was addressing the foundation stone-inauguration ceremony of development works of Rs 1,410 crore on Thursday. During this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Phase 1-C of the important metro project in Jaipur costing Rs 980 crore and 9 development works of JDA costing about Rs 430 crore. CM laid foundation stone of Phase 1C from Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar via Ramganj (2.85 km). “This phase, costing Rs 980 crore, will provide direct and easy connectivity to Jaipur boundary from Delhi Road and Agra Road. It is a matter of pride that Metro is expanding in Jaipur. It is also our dream to complete the second phase of metro from Sitapura to Ambabadi. Governments all over the world fulfill their social responsibility regarding transportation. There is no profit or loss seen in this,” CM said.
